How long could I expect it to run with the 1800W? Tofinoguy wrote: ↑My home theatre setup runs about 20 minutes with the 400W. If you're thinking of getting one, this is as cheap as it gets, so don't wait. I bought one last year when it went on sale for $349.99, then went back a month later for price protection adjustment when it went down to $299.99. Should work for several hours during non-storm blackouts when the sump pump isn't working every few minutes. Probably just barely sufficient for a temporary blackout during a heavy storm. Manufacturer says the 1800 can drive a 1/2 hp sump pump for 45 min. Here's a review on the powersource 400 unit from home perspective: It's run many things in my home and it's been worth every penny. On the other hand, i'm quite surprised at the flexibility with my powersource 400. but I wonder how long that 60 amp hour (3x20 amp hour SLA AGM) will actually last under sump pump conditions? I don't doubt that it will get these things going. Keep in mind that i'm a little skeptical about even the 1800 "running a sump pump, refridgerator etc" continously for a longer length of time. These rebranded NOMA units are actually Xantrex units. Miss_swan wrote: ↑I also responded in the other thread.
